New Year

I hope you have had a good festive break and as we head into a New Year I've been thinking about what to do next.

I've been focused on an intense period in say the last five or so years from deciding to come out, transitioning and the medical side.

That's now mainly over so where now. Well LCR Pride Foundation will keep me busy on some fronts and I'll be more open and vocal about transgender rights. Networking is going to be a big thing as is traveling.

However I wanted to do something more personal. During lockdown I really got into social media and YouTube. I watched many content creators across many topics. They gave me lots of enjoyment. YouTube is like the biggest TV channel with everything you want. That said there wasn't anyone like me.

There are loads of Trans people all doing their own thing but not me. So I thought why not fill that gap.

So I really don't have much of a plan. I'll be winging it for a while as I get comfortable not just with being more open (and less wooden) plus learning new skills like video editing and deciding on content. 

I'll still be doing this blog but just adding visuals to it. I'll cover my journey more here as always but visual allows me to do more. Fashion, trips and general monologues will be now on video.

@amandaoutthere is my new handle and you can find me on YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok. Twitter will be avoided as it's turning into a toxic cespit. Facebook will remain a personal thing for friends.

Hope you can subscribe and hit the bell thingy to know when the next video is posted. No frequency yet just testing the waters and see how it develops.

I know I've got a lot to learn and certainly relax a little letting the real me out. Any helpful suggestions welcome. 

Until then I'll be probably doing an unboxing video when the mentioned items in the video turn up. My first foray into fashion vlogging lol.

After that who knows. Travel and events definitely.
