Peaks & Troughs
Hi my loyal readers.
I must have some lol as my views broke through the 5000 barrier in the last few weeks. I thank those who were there from the start and those who have caught up since. The nifty software that comes with this allows me to track where you are all from. As expected UK figures strongly but I welcome readers from all corners of the world. All are welcome in my world!
So where are we. Well a few more people now know mainly from work and mainly second hand but that's cool with me. Ive had meetings with top bod in my location and on Friday came out to my department boss. A bit....scrub that....very drunk so I have limited recollection of what was said but I have cleared matters up since. One left in work specifically then notify the general population. The former Im oddly worried about more than the latter.
Again so far all have been supportive and helpful, treating me with respect and intrigued as to my journey. In time I will have to turn myself towards a work wardrobe. Blending in is the key and business as usual has been my mantra. That said I know what I want to wear and how.
Once work has been conquered which is ironically looking easier than I thought, then family is going to be the biggest problem. So far this has caused me serious anxiety. I have a fundamental need to be me but at what expense to others. The world so far has been very sympathetic but there will no doubt come a point where that will no longer be the case and that will be painful to all. I am developing a strategy which is in its earliest phase so I'll refrain for now from revealing it. I have a lot of thinking to do on this point and will go through good and bad points on this issue. To those who read this and deal with me day to day, if I look down then this is likely to be troubling me. Your continued support is as always welcomed and essential to my mental stability. I can be fragile at times and the support I have and continue to have is so helpful.
So to lighter things. Work wardrobe will be flats or low heels and a mix of blouses, skirts, trousers and the odd dress. Im looking forward to buying the obligatory skirt suit. Might get heels to go with that to accentuate my considerable height lol.
After realising my underwear draw needed a refresh and M+S let me down on a signature piece I wanted (not in my size) I troubled Ebay. I bought two. One F+F and one Autograph. Ive realised balcony suit me and are very comfortable so they were both from that design school. Ironically the 99p F+F one has been the most satisfying. Sits very well and provides the best shape. Is excellent quality as well. Might have to pop into Tesco more often!
So hopefully in the next few weeks I will cover some more milestones in coming out. The hair is now at just shy of the length I want it for now, so have been thinking of a few styles:

Any feedback is of course welcomed on style and colour.
Until the next time, thanks for reading and as always willing to answer any questions.
