Be Prepared
Hi all.
I trust everyone is having a good Easter. Not too many eggs being eaten?
For some unknown reason this blog now appears big in the US and I'm about to breach 11000 page views. OMG! Thanks as always to those who are reading this and I hope it continues to be of interest and useful.
So fingers crossed, lucky four leaf clover kissed and black cats crossing my paths, but the house sale is still on. I'm not taking anything for granted based on the last few months but so far so good. Lets hope this continues.
Looks like the divorce is finally agreed and hope to have the paperwork submitted this week. How long that will take the courts to process is unknown but hopefully soon. Once I have the divorce ratified then I am free to change my name etc.
Any males reading this who are perhaps a little squeamish when it comes to taking about their bits perhaps time to look away now lol.
Once of the ongoing problems as a transwoman is hiding the stuff you no longer want. In time it will be turned inside out to create my neo vagina and hormones I understand causes shrinkage but pending that we gurls need to "tuck". That ensures a flat as possible profile. Well in the last few weeks practice has been ongoing and I am getting quite proficient. A smooth profile is maintained by placing the testes in the body cavity from which they previously dropped and placing the penis underneath. Add in a good pair of strong undies (and 2 sizes too small) and voila. Most happy with this and my tightest of jeans shows nothing!
Clothing continues to build. Needed to buy more hangers recently and readjust my wardrobe space. Each time I think I have most of what I need, I think of something else missing. This weeks priority is summer dresses. A hot Saturday in Manchester people watching realized I need a few. In the meantime I'm enjoying playing around with what I have and seeing what goes with what. Maxi dress likely.
Ok so its been a few weeks now since I got my phaser gun as I call it i.e. my Phillips Lumea IPL. Designed to send my hair growth into stasis. Its all done by zapping the areas with high intense light apparently.
So results so far? Well firstly its a bit like the fourth bridge and painting it. Once you finish your body, its time to start again. Two full rotations done so far.
Noticeable improvement on my hands (backs before I get any funny comments) and elements of my chest appear to have delayed growth / thinning. The blurb says an 8 week course should be sufficient but I will plough on but so far there have been some changes and thats good. Hope my legs show some changes as I find shaving them a chore and would love to go bare legged in the summer.
Lasr thing before I sign off. April is the anniversary of an event from my youth. One that had a huge effect on my mental state for a good 15 or so years and thereafter remained troublesome and required a lot of mental effort to stay in a state of equilibrium. This year for the first time ever I felt at ease with my memories and feelings from that day without feeling on edge or distressed.
Now it may be simply time passing but I believe my overall mental health is so much more stable now that I have accepted who I am and have a clear plan on where I am going. It has been tough getting here but now I am here I| cant wait to be me. It so reassuring for the soul when you know who you are.
So again thanks for reading and I will check in again soon.
