Dry Run

Hi all,

Thanks as always for reading my blog. Numbers have steadied and I appear to still have an international audience. Wlkommen , Benveniue, Howdy!

So where are we. No change on the family front. Kids ignoring me entirely and no idea where they are. Father still thinks i'm making the wrong decision (as if its a decision really) and keeps referencing how a good looking lad I am etc Simply doesn't get it and he is truly wasting his time. The time is fast approaching when he will have to face the reality and I find it sad that after knowing for so long he wont accept this. I am now seeing this as a lack of respect for me as an individual. It is the tired old view of compliance with societies norms out does individual happiness. That's a very old fashioned view point and I am tiring of it. I don't want to fall out with him but I am being increasingly frustrated coming up against the same old issues.

Talking about time approaching, the purchase of my house is nearly done and hope to have a date soon. Due to the nature of my work I wont be able to live full time immediately. To be honest that was always the plan. Ease into my new life at home and socially. Hopefully we are only looking at a few weeks away now.

So with a recent period of time alone, I started the dry run referenced in the title. Working as male and then coming home changing to female until the next morning, Repeated a few days and then weekend continued it. Whilst I am still living out of boxes it isnt true to life, but it was good to get in that groove and do things such as cooking my tea and lounging in front of the television as Amanda. No going out as I think for now that's for when I live in my new area. Clean break and all that, starting day one as I intend to live.

I did get asked recently by a good friend as to when Amanda will be first seen by them. I think friends will probably see me within a week or two of me moving in. Then it will be time for the final announcement and thereafter If you dont know then you didnt deserve to know lol. The obligatory housewarming I think will be a good point to break that final chunk of ice.

I had a bit of a ebay splurge recently and picked up a few items to add to the wardrobe. Tops and a couple of dresses. Undies from M&S ordered and make up refresh from Boots. More points added! Once they turn up then I am as good as i can be to go. New boobs will be ordered soon as I will relegate my old ones to back up pending any natural growth in due course. So looking forward to that.

Next real change is the hair. Been a brown for a year or so now and always wanted to be a red head. Going to start playing with colours so i can see what does or doesnt work. You may therefore see changes in the coming weeks.
